One TransWoman's Manifesto

"I Am,

I am Morwen,

I am a Trans Woman.

I have always been a woman.

Now I must go through the process,

The Transition that is not real,

For there is no true transformation...

I have always been myself.

The wrapper on the spirit will change,

But the soul remains the same.

Society shall witness the blooming of my Being,

For I shall not hide in the shadows.

I shall stand head-to-head against those who oppose us.

If Society cannot see our worth,

Then that Society itself is of no value.

For we are, dear sisters,

Transformers...

A Tribe of magic workers, those who see all sides.

And a Culture shall feel our touch,

Hear our voices,

See our spirits...

And,

Transform itself.
